Abstract: Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in patients with end-stage renal disease, and cardiovascular calcification is closely related to the occurrence of cardiovascular events. With progression of the disease, the incidence of cardiac valve calcification patients increases significantly in chronic kidney disease patients. This paper focuses on the risk factors for cardiac valve calcification in peritoneal dialysis patients based on the traditional factors and non-traditional factors associated with peritoneal dialysis.
