Abstract: 【Abstract】Cognitive impairment is one of the complications in chronic kidney disease patients. Many factors affect the cognitive impairment. The secondary hyperparathyroidism is one of the important influence factors for cognitive impairment. Here we discuss the mechanism of cognitive impairment from the viewpoints of abnormal levels of PTH, calcium ion and vitamin D in secondary hyperparathyroidism patients.
