Abstract: Kidney injury causes the derangement of homeostasis, which damages endothelial cells, and activates platelets, blood coagulation and fibrinolysis system, leading to a hypercoagulation state to facilitate thrombosis. Thrombosis in arteries and veins is a common and frequent complication of various kidney diseases, seriously affecting the prognosis of patients, especially in patients with nephrotic syndrome, chronic kidney disease and maintenance hemodialysis patients. Understanding the mechanism of thrombosis in various kidney diseases is of great importance for developing anticoagulation regimens and improving patient prognosis.
