Abstract: 【Abstract】Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is one of the effective methods to treat end-stage renal disease. With the increase of dialysis population and dialysis age, reports about the new onset diabetes mellitus after PD increased significantly. In this paper, the oxidative stress and islet dysfunction in PD patients are analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for further understanding the mechanism and for clinical prevention and treatment of new onset diabetes mellitus in PD patients.
