Abstract: 【Abstract】Peritonitis is an important complication of peritoneal dialysis (PD), commonly affecting the prognosis of patients on peritoneal dialysis. The appropriate course of antibiotics is essential to the therapeutic effect, in terms of reducing manpower and expenditure, and drug resistance rate as well. We reviewed the literature on the antibacterial course of peritonitis associated with PD and summarized limitations with the existing evidence and provided relevant suggestions. Future researches are warranted to elucidate it.
