Abstract: Peritoneal dysfunction is an important factor for the quality of long-range peritoneal dialysis. Therefore, early identification and prevention of peritoneal dysfunction and protection of peritoneal function are the hot points for peritoneal dialysis practitioners and researchers. This paper reviews the principles of peritoneal transport function, and the classification, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of peritoneal dysfunction, aiming to improve the quality of peritoneal dialysis.
