Abstract: With the increasing incidence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 5, the number of patients with maintenance hemodialysis (HD) is increasing. Autogenous Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred method for long-term vascular access in HD patients. AVF stenosis is the main cause of AVF dysfunction in HD patients, and its mechanism has not been fully elucidated. CKD5 patients often cause various related complications due to changes in the types and concentrations of blood metabolites. The application of metabolomics technology has revealed various metabolic disorders in CKD patients. This article analyzes the correlation between abnormal blood metabolomics and AVF stenosis in CKD patients, hoping to provide new ideas for elucidating the mechanism of AVF stenosis and prevention and treatment of AVF stenosis
