Abstract: Here we analyze the mechanism of blood sodium fluorescein interfering with the blood leakage detector in hemodialyzer and propose the solution methods through the description of a patient who had an intravenous sodium fluorescein administration for fundus angiography before hemodialysis. Serval blood leakage alarms happened during hemodialysis of this patient, and the alarms disappeared after adjusting dialysate flow rate and delaying treatment time
