【Abstract】Objective To investigate the effect of kidney transplantation in aged patient.Methods 20 patients over to jears old who received kidney transplantation were studied. Results Postoperative complication occured in 6 patients(30%),reject reaction occurred in 4 patients(20%), 2 patients(10%) died of cardiac fuilure, and the kidneys of the others are still alive.Conclusion The patients over 60 years old can receive kidney transplantation successfully; The main reasons leading to death were cardiac complication and infection; The indication of recipients and using of immunosuppressive agent proprely is the key to prolong the surrival time.
