Abstract

【Abstracts】Objectives To investigate the efficacy of different dialysis modalities in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods 19 patients were given two groups randomly.13 patients undergone hemodiafiltration and hemodialysis，the other 6 patients were treated with hemodialysis for only 5 months.The predialysis and postdialysis serum urea nitrogen and creatinine were measured.The values of KT/V and PCR were calculated. Results HD combined HDF is better than HD in clearance of urotoxin and dialysis adequacy. There is no significant difference in PCR between the two groups Conclusions Hemodiafiltration assoiciated with hemodialysis is considered to be the better treatment of choice for maintenance hemodialysis patients.
