Abstract
【Abstract】Objective To evaluate the accuracy of calculated solute removal indexes (CSRI) of models of urea hemodynamics by means of collecting spend dialysate from efferent of dialyzer and determining actual solute removal index (ASRI). Methods ASRI was estimated with the spend dialysate of 20 patients on stable hemodialysis, and compared with the CSRI derived form urea reduction ratio (URR), single pool model of urea, two pool model of urea, and the Smye, and Daugirdas formula. Results The CSRI from the URR and one pool model of urea was higher than ASRI. The difference was significant (P<0.05). However, the CSRI from two pool model of urea, Smye, and Daugirdas formula was equal to ASRI by direct determining method. Conclusion CSRI from two pool model of urea, Smye, and Daugirdas formula might be the excellent substitute of ASRI.
