Abstract

Objective To explore change of serum troponin I（cTnI） in hemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure. Methods By enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),the level of Serum cTnI were measured in 115 patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis and 64 healthy persons. Results The level of serum cTnI in hemodialysis patients were higher than those of healthy persons significantly ， (P＜0.01). And the level of serum cTnI is different between the hemodialysis patients with and without symptom of breathless (P＜0.01). But serum cTnI in 10 cases（11.9%）without symptom were still higher than normal. Conclusions Myocardium impairments were prevalent in hemodialysis patients,and sometimes are subclinical.
