Objective To study the clearance influence of ultrasonic hemodialysis and the possibility of clinical appliance. Method Renal-failure dogs were treated with regular hemodialysis and ultrasonic hemodialysis alternatively, the clearance of regular hemodialysis and ultrasonic hemodialysis were compared. Result Ultrasonic hemodialysis improve the clearance of small molecular substances represented by BUN, Cr and UA significantly comparing with regular hemodialysis; The clearance change of other blood biochemical components has no statistic significance. Conclusion Ultrasonic hemodialysis may increase the clearance of uremictoxin represented by BUN and Cr and improve the hemodialysis effic iency.
