Objective To observe the effect on cumulative survival-rate of early dialysis and late dialysis in chronic hemodialysis patients. Methods This is a retrospective analysis which included 115 maintenance hemodialysis patients treated between april 1994 and april 2002. Data on the relationship between survival-rate and early dialysis and late dialysis were collected.And analysed other pre-factors consisting hypertension,albumin,et al. Result In this group of patients,the average age they received first hemodialysis session was (52.7±14.3); the male and female ratio was 68/47.The cumulative survival-rate of late dialysis and early dialysis of chronic hemodialysis patients was different significantly（P<0.05）. Independent-sample T test were applied to analyze the relationship between age, hypertension and albumin. The result showed that early dialysis and late dialysis existed significant difference（P<0.01）. Conclusion The outcome of our materials shows that early dialysis and late dialysis are important factors which influenle the surrival rate of hemodialysis patients, the pregnosis of late diagnosis was poor.And late dialysis had relationship with low blood-pressure and hypoalbuminemia.
