Abstract
Objective To study the effects of safflower injection after arteriovenous fistula operation. Methods Fifty six patients were randomly divided into two groups, The clinical therapeutic effects in the two groups were observed, including the effects on hemorheology, blood flow after fistula maturation and the first using time. Results After treatment, in the safflower injection group, the high-and low-shear whole blood viscosity lowered, significantly as compared with that in the control group (P<0.05). The blood flow after fistula maturation and the first use were better than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Safflower injection is effective for treating hypercoagulation status after creation of arteriovenous fistula, and is worthy of clinical application.
