Abstract: Objective To explore the diversity of the patients with nephropathy in need of hospital human-based service. Methods Adopting 10 items involved in the hospital human-based service of the World Health Organization questionnaire for health and sanitation reaction, questioning 60 hospitalied patients with nephropathy, sorting and analysing the result. Results The patients need most were the intercommunication between doctors and patients (53.3%), the freedom to choose doctors(53.3%) and the mental health care (40.0%). The patients need least were the social supports(56.7%),the health education(53.3%)and keeping secret for their illness(50.0%). Conclusion the patients with nephropathy need most about the hospital human-based service are the intercommunicaon between doctors and patients, the freedom to choose doctor and the mental care and love. While, the patients need least are the social supports, the health education and keeping secret for their illness.
