Abstract: Objective To retrieve, evaluate and integrate the best evidence for exit-site care in peritoneal dialysis patients for the guidance of clinical practice.  Methods  We searched the relevant guidelines, systematic reviews, and expert consensuses about the exit-site care. The retrieval period was from the establishment of the databases to June 30, 2022.  Results  A total of 14 articles were enrolled, including 8 guidelines, 2 expert consensuses, one systematical review and 3 cohort studies.  Conclusions  This study summarized the best evidence for exit-site care in peritoneal dialysis and provided the best practice evidence for clinical nursing.
