Abstract:

Objectives Comparing three methods which were used to evaluate nutritional status in hemodialysis patients. Methods SGA, MQSGA, and CMIS were used to evaluate the nutritional status. Anthropometry and ALB, IGF-1 of serum was assessed. Results There were significant positive relationships between SGA, MQSGA,CMIS, and HGS, BSF, TSF, MAMC, AMA, ALB, IGF-1. Furthermore, there was also significant correlative relationship between SGA, MQSGA, CMIS, and nutritional composite correlative coefficient. Finally, it demons-trated that the composite correlative coefficient was bigger in MQSGA than in SGA or CMIS. Conclusions SGA, MQSGA and CMIS can be used to evaluate the nutritional status, but MQSGA is better in the three methods in nutrition assessment of HD patients.
